UAE slashed crude supplies for June

The state-run Abu Dhabi National Oil Company reported that it will cut crude oil supplies for June by as much as 18 percent as the OPEC member state complies with the group’s last round of output reductions. For full story, click here

PetroSA is in talks to secure crude supply for Coega Oil Refinery

PetroSA, South Africa’s state-owned oil company declared that it is in talks to secure crude supplies for its planned oil refinery at Coega, near Port Elizabeth. Unbridled Energy (CVE:UNE) today provided updated results for the year ending December, 2008. The company reported a 1,500% gain in revenue over the same period in 2007.

SK Energy achieved solid overall performance in Q1

SK Energy, Korea’s leading energy provider, declared 1st quarter earnings results for 2009. 1st quarter revenue dipped by 14% to KRW 8,105.3 billion from the same period 2008, while operating profit and net income increased by 62% and 2% year-over-year  to stand at KRW 645.8 billion and KRW 247 billion respectively.
